Cobbles for Solving Problem Areas...

Many planting beds are designed into the site layout for a garage building backed by an access sidewalk.  Not a bad idea, except when the plants are continually in shade (East side of the Garage Building) and don't receive a lot of irrigation .

Cobble Curve

Here we again removed all the dead or dying plants, leveled the soil and  raked it smooth to grade.  We dug a shallow drain trench along the sidewalk  then lined the sidewalk with large River Cobbles, then filled and leveled the remainder with smaller cobbles.

Again, no dust, no dirt kicked onto the sidewalk and no mud on the sidewalk after rainstorms.

Below shows detail of how we install cobbles around irrigation heads to allow unobstructed deployment and quck access if maintenance or adjustment is required.
