
In the photo (left) you can see an Aggregate Concrete sidwalk leading to the entry of a condominium home.
This walkway was always under about 1 - 2 inches of storm water after every rainstorm, often for as many as three days at a time.
Moss and mildew grew from the grass onto the sidewalk and up the first step even in summer.
Following the excavation, placement of the Drainage Modules and backfilling with Drain Rock, larger Cobbles were hand-placed along the edges of the trench and the area between covered with smaller cobbles.
The Walkway, stairs and porch are now dry after rainstorms, and moss is gone.
We have used this same design in continuous drainage trenches running in excess of 250 linear feet with excellent results.
